It depends what you mean by the word "imminent." Borrowing a playbook from Bill Clinton's sophistry during Monicagate, the Administration is denying that it ever claimed that Iraq posed an "imminent" threat during the run-up to war. Why bother to find out how the Administration got it so wrong about WMD in Iraq when you can deny that you made that the main selling point of the war?
